Service is at the heart of Scouting. At Troop 223, we believe that leadership isn’t just about learning skills—it’s about using those skills to make a difference in the lives of others.

Throughout the year, our Scouts participate in a variety of service projects that strengthen our community, support local organizations, and care for the environment. Every project provides an opportunity for Scouts to practice teamwork, develop leadership, and live out the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Whether we’re lending a hand to a neighbor, helping our charter organization, or improving our local parks, our Scouts are committed to leaving every place better than they found it.

Eagle Scout Service Projects

One of the highest achievements in Scouting is earning the rank of Eagle Scout. As part of this journey, each Eagle Scout candidate plans, organizes, and leads a significant service project that benefits a school, religious institution, nonprofit organization, or community. These projects demonstrate leadership, planning, and a lasting commitment to serving others while creating meaningful improvements for the organizations they support. Troop 223 is proud of the many Scouts who have completed impactful Eagle Scout service projects, leaving a legacy that benefits our community for years to come.

Service Hours

Scouts contribute hundreds of volunteer service hours each year through troop activities, individual service opportunities, and Eagle Scout projects. Service teaches responsibility, compassion, and the importance of giving back. More importantly, it reminds our Scouts that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. Together, we can make Twinsburg and our surrounding communities even stronger—one project, one Scout, and one act of service at a time.
