About the Troop

Troop 223 proudly serves the Twinsburg community by providing young people with opportunities to learn, lead, and serve through the Scouting program. Built on the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law, our troop has helped generations of Scouts develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.

Troop 223 is a youth-led organization where Scouts take the lead in planning meetings, organizing trips, and running the troop program. From campouts to service projects, Scouts help decide what activities the troop will do and take responsibility for making them happen. Adult leaders provide guidance, mentorship, and safety oversight, helping support the Scouts as they build leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and confidence through real experience.

We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where every Scout is encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue new challenges, and become a leader in their community.

Troop 223 is proudly chartered by First Congregational Church of Twinsburg–United Church of Christ, a longstanding community partner that supports our mission of helping young people grow into responsible, caring, and engaged leaders.

Troop meetings are held every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. New Scouts and their families are always welcome to visit, meet our leaders, and experience what Scouting is all about.

Troop 223 is part of the Lake Erie Council of Ohio.
